Lekki
Start with a square piece of paper at least 6 inches across. It should be different colors on the two sides, preferably purple and light green. Also, get a piece of yellow paper, some glue or paste, and a black crayon!
Fold the paper in half, diagonally, and unfold, making a crease. |
Fold the two corners in to the center crease. |
Fold the bottom point behind the model, lining up with the corners of the flaps made in step 2. |
Fold the long point down so it ends up halfway down the green area, and unfold. |
Fold the two side corners behind the model. |
Fold the two corners in the middle up and out to form the wings. |
Fold the top point down using the crease from step 4 to make the beak. |
Pinch the top points to make the ears. Your model should now look like this. |
Use your crayon to add wing feathers, smile, and little feet. Paste on two yellow ovals with black dots to make the eyes. You're all done! |
